I had purchased the same product for twice the price at JC Penney's. The product at Penney's was brand new. The one I received from Amazon, the handle had a brushed finish. Nordic Ware makes this product with a high gloss finish, not a brush finish that I received. I wondered how the product can be one-half the price? Now, I know!
