It did not work as a seal at all. The steam still escapes so the cooker does not build up pressure to cook as a pressure cooker, so it was a waste of time sending for it.

Was so happy to find this gasket, the kettles are the best but it's the gaskets that seal things up and make everything work. The gasket is just as it was presented and was shipped in good time.
