This is a great slow cooker. Wonderful to have a separate pan to brown things on the cooktop and then put it on the base to slow cook. It is a great size for making soup recipes that serve 6 to 8. I really like that it has a plastic snap on lid for refrigerator storage. I bought the straps as well so that if I need to travel with a dish to pass, it will be secure in the travel case.

I own a West Bend crock pot from approximate 40 years ago and it still is going strong. I accidentally saw this new crock pot on line and knew I had to purchase it. I like the oblong pot verses the round pots. I feel there is more space for the food, especially roasts. I am very happy with my new purchase.

The darn thing flew out of my hands and onto the floor. The cover no longer fits because of the dropped item.

The strap does not fit well on my particular model of slow cooker and the velcro is on the wrong side on one side of the strap.
