Large saucepot which easily handled every recipe I put to it. I chose it because it was reccomended by America's Test Kitchens and it certainly lived up to my expectations.
Great feature is it's ability to be washed in the dishwasher doesn't change appearance or cooking capabilities and makes clean up VERY easy

I bought this from amazon and I would say its the best saucepot for the price. It heats up evenly, doesnt stick and even if it does its very easy to clean. We were looking to move away from nonstick surfaces and back to basic stainless steel interior cooking surfaces. At the same time, we wanted the improved heat transference from aluminum or copper or some such metal.These pots fit the bill perfectly. And at a good price.
Plus we love the color and that that aren't super heavy. There's just enough aluminum on all the clad surfaces, but without becoming too heavy.
We've bought 2 other major Cuisinart Multiclad Unlimited pieces as well and love those, too.

I have an allclad 6 quart saucepan that I bought a number of years ago for $140 ($160 now). This pan is just as good as the Allclad at a little more than 1/3 the price. Two things to keep in mind are that to actually clean the interior after use, you will eventually have to use barkeeper's friend but on the INSIDE only. Cleaning with detergent just doesn't remove all the residue. And second, the exterior is susceptible to scratches. Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely.
