I was so excited to open this up when it arrived (Very quickly BTW). But as I started to read the instructions, I discovered that this porcelain cookware is not recommended for ceramic or glass top stove tops. So unfortunately this will be going back. I wish they had put that in the description. But this pot is very BIG, and would have made my life so much easier with feeding my family of 6!

As a previous viewer stated, the porcelain-enamel pan is not "recommended" for use on a glass top stove. The pamphlet went on to say that it should not be used on a glass top stove at extremely high temperatures because the porcelain surface could fuse to the glass top. In other words, use with caution, I have used this pan on the medium-high setting on my glass cooktop with no problems. I love this pan and cannot imagine cooking without it.

We needed a pan that could cook large meals (curries, spaghetti, etc) in one pan. This one is perfect and we now use it for everything. We cook everything from a couple of eggs in the morning to our favorite curries in the evening. Aside from the size and versatility, we also like it because the nonstick surface is actually nonstick. We purchased two other pans prior to this and the nonstick surfaces seemed to disappear after a couple of uses. The only negative comment is something another reviewer mentioned; it's hard to clean the outer side and bottom but it doesn't affect the cooking so I still rated this 5 stars. You won't need any other pan!

This skillet is the answer for a busy family. It holds enough casserole-type food to feed 5 or 6 hungry people. The sides are high enough to keep sauces like sloppy joes from spattering the stove and walls. The tall sides are also terrific for frying chicken. I love the way it cleans up. Absolutely nothing sticks to it. I had ordered several Rachel Ray pans on the same day. This skillet was the last to arrive (2 days after the others), but it was still in the delivery timeframe. If you cook for more than 2 people, you shouldn't have to live without this skillet.

This pan may be nonstick, but only on the inside. I bought the green version and the inside cleaned up beautifully every time. But the outside, yikes! I've only scrubbed the exterior with Barkeeper's Friend and it is a nightmare to keep looking nice. It sits on my cooktop a lot (we use it almost daily), so it's a bummer it looks so bad! I just bought the Rachael Ray anodized version of this pan that should clean up better. It's a shame to need to replace it so quickly.
