I had seen this new ruby color in a specialty store locally and wanted it for Christmas dinnerware. I was happy to have found it on Amazon for less money and free shipping. You can't beat that. This Sorrento line of dinnerware is great.

Signature Housewares Sorrento 90-Ounce Medium Mixing Bowl, Ruby is a decent product. Pricey for what you get in stoneware. Heavy,freezer to oven to table stuff. Too bad you have to buy by piece rather than complete set.

I love this bowl although it did have a small chip. I did not what to do about the chip and then decided not to mess around with returning it for such a small chip.

I have this for my fruit bowl on the counter. Its more like mauve raspberry in color. I ordered this to go with the other pieces that I have sitting out on my counter.
