This pot is overflowing with two quarts of water. The dimensions listed are deceptive. How can you have a round pot with three dimensions? The box states that the diameter is 7.5 inches, so what is Amazon listing at 9 inches??? This is a very handy pot, I love it for: Rice, Pasta & Mashed Potatoes. I also love the straining lid & the handles, I use it a lot & would recommend it to all!
