Wishing to make amends ASAP, I went to Amazon and found
this low priced item. Looking over other kitchen sites, this was the
lower priced.
It arrived promptly & in one piece.
Looked just like the one I'd lost, except for the brand name.
She still cooks goodies in it and uses the well sealed top for pot lucks
and such.
And I'm out of the dog house......

I bought this pan from my local store. It is a well made piece, however, even though it says that the dish and lid are microwaveable, the lid shrank after I used it in the microwave. I guess it is safe, since it didn't break or melt. I wouldn't recommend using the lid inside of the microwave, but I would still recommend the dish for purchase.Best Deals for Anchor Hocking Glass Bake 'N Take 9 Inch x 13 Inch Dish With Snap
The quality was great and I appreciated the careful packing that it was shipped in. I didn't realize the glass dish was ridged until I received the product. I'm not so crazy about the ridges. It takes more elbow grease and scrubbing for those baked on spots that have sealed themselves in the ridges. Otherwise, a great product.Honest reviews on Anchor Hocking Glass Bake 'N Take 9 Inch x 13 Inch Dish With Snap
The 13x9 glass is functional and a great piece to own. The lid however has made me regret owning this for the last 9 years. I'm no high maintenance lady, but I've wrangled and broken more nails and hurt my hands so many times attempting to open this set. The lid is thick plastic and is incredibly hard to open, especially when you pull it out of the fridge and it's now cold hard plastic. The lid definitely needs redesigned in my opinion. I guess the good news is the lid does stay on...Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Anchor Hocking Glass Bake 'N Take 9 Inch x 13 Inch Dish With Snap
I have had a baking dish w/lid like this for years. I got online to see if I could find another as I use it constantly. It's great for casseroles as left overs are easily stored in same dish they were cooked in. I make meatloaf up ahead of time and put them in the freezer in this dish to pull out in a week or two. I love it!I have a suggestion for the person making a cake use smaller cake mixes or brownies then the icing isn't tall enough to stick :)
