Since I just got it last night, I haven't had the chance to use it yet.

This really is a heavy duty gauge stainless steel basin with a beautiful brushed finish. One of the thickest I have seen and exactly what I was looking for with the flat bottom and low profile. I purchased this for a project I am working on and it is almost exactly what I had in mind, maybe exactly we'll see after I finish the project. I ordered this standard shipping on the 9th and it got here on the 11th so I am extremely pleased with the service and just had to make a comment about it. I really like my brand new 12qt Stainless Steel Flat Bottom Dish Pan I just bought. It arrived a few day early and in great condition. The best part about the dish pan is the flat bottom. When you are mixing items in the pan it does not tilt with you. After owning this pan I will never use a rounded bottom one again. I am planing on canning with it this summer and I know it will work great for all of my canning plans. The pan also as a handy small hole in the very top so you can easily hang it up and get it out of the way. I am very pleased with how heavy and thick it is.
