The set contains four pots ranging from large to medium small. The lids sit perfect and the handles do not get hot at all. I also realized that I need much less energy than with my old pots.

This is the absolute best set I have ever owned . Cleans easily cooks well over low heat . I am impressed .

Best Deals for WMF Provence Plus 7-Piece Cookware Set

I like the pots they are high quality steel with a heavy, thick base. WMF has a great reputation as a manufacturer of pressure cookers, so I was delighted that this set went on a Lightning sale.

However, the lids collect water and other crud from the dishwasher in a gap between the lid handles and the glass top. The water and crud get in, but I can't shake it out. I would have to take the lid handle off with a wrench since the handle is secured with a nut from the underside of the lid. To me, stuck water is synonymous with mold and bacteria...

Another complaint, and this is minor, but the inside walls of the pots have little dimples in them where the handles attach to the pots.

I really wanted to like this set, but I'm not sure I can live with the tops collecting and trapping water like that.

I have been using these for around 2 months. Here are my observations:

Pros:

Because they do not have a non-stick surface they have 2 benefits: they are dishwasher safe and somewhat stackable (unlike other products where you are not supposed to stack them because of the non-stick surface).

They are decent to clean (I hand wash and get the stuck-on food off and then put them in the dishwasher).

Cons:

The handles on the 3 casserole pots get hot! I cannot pick up a pot that has just boiled water without using pot holders. I am surprised that other reviewers have said that the handles are not hot. They get hot!

I tend to use the 2.5 quart (the mid-size casserole pot) the most. And I notice that it is discoloring on the inside despite the pot being clean. (Hard to describe but there are rings of rainbow type colors around the interior sides and speckles on the bottom). This doesn't impact the cooking, I am just wondering how the pot will look after a year or two of use.

In conclusion it is a good set, not outstanding, but good.

that is my second time to bought it, it is very nice goods,the box size is 52*30*22CM, and almost 20 pound.
