The video has a more detailed explanation of how to set up the racks. A few things I would probably change on it though. 1) I should have gotten a closer view of the hooks going into the back of the rack to show how they fit in. My 8 year old was actually shooting the video for me (1st time for her) and I'm not going back to do it again. :o) 2) When showing how to set it up for both the front and back of the racks to be hooked on for maximum stability, I should probably have started with the middle rack instead of the top. But when I was setting this up on camera, it was only the 2nd time I put it together, so I'm sure it will go faster once I've done it a few times.
The reason I got this item in the 1st place is for when I make pizzas. Usually I do 6 at a time and freeze most. But trying to have the space for 6 pizza crusts to cool... My whole dining room table is devoted to it. I'm hoping this will do the trick for saving space.

Love this thing!! I've used it twice now and each time is an easier setup. I've hand-washed it only and it's very easy to clean up. I don't plan on putting it in the dishwasher. The middle and top racks are able to stand on their own as cooling racks as well so I'm thinking about ordering another one of these and doing away with my single racks. Those are starting to go downhill anyway.
Since the main purpose of these racks was to make my life (or at least doing my pizzas) much easier, I'd have to say that has been a resounding success. I'm very pleased with the product.

Still use this often and it's holding up (no pun intended) very well. I'm using it more for desserts than pizzas now, but that's more of a reflection on my cooking whims than the cooling rack's durability. I've also added a picture that includes a ruler you can use to judge if your items will fit.

What a product! Saves so much of space. It is so sturdy. Does not wobble. Just the right product for those who have less space in the kitchen. It's like a blessing for those who, like me, have a small kitchen. There were other brands available with 3-tier, and I was deciding between this one and the one by Wilton. But the Wilton one looked a bit 'undernourished', lol, and I was afraid, it would collapse. This one had just one review to its credit, but with a 5-Star rating. So I risked buying this one. And I am so happy that I took the risk!
This one is really sturdy, folds very well into a small size, and when assembled, OH MY GOD! It's just awesome!
Will be ordering more of these. Worth every cent!

Product: "Nifty Non-Stick 3-Tier Cooling Rack"Rating: 3.5/5 (above average)
Before ordering this item I was a little concerned about whether it'd be big enough, and sturdy enough, for my needs (most commonly: cooling 2-3 medium-sized 15 inch round pizzas, and occasionally a pair of large rustic loaves or pies). Results were mixed, which I list below.
LIKES:
* Size: Thankfully, this rack turned out to be *JUST* big enough for my most common use ... homemade pizza. More specifically, this rack (albeit only in its open configuration), can accomodate up to three medium-sized (15 inch) round pizza screens, for cooling pizzas or large rustic loaves of bread. Time permitting, I will add pictures the next time I bake.
* Compact: This unit folds up into a compact shape, which if left in its box, will fit above or below one's cabinets.
DISLIKES:
* Non-Standard Size (-1 star): You would think that someone making a product like this would want to be compatible with the most commonly used standard-size baking sheets in use, right ? Sadly, not this product. In its locked configuration (both uprights in use), this rack CAN (just barely) accomodate med-sized 'household' baking sheets (10x15 inch), but only if their lips are straight vertical and do not flare outwards, and it CANNOT handle standard commercial 'half-pans' (12x18 inch) at all, either open or closed.
* Sturdiness (-1/2 star): The unit, in its unlocked vertical configuration, is a bit flimsy, and the vertical arm lacks a means to lock itself upright (the other vertical arm is required for this purpose). Although strong enough to cool medium-size 15" pizzas, this unit is NOT sturdy enough to handle heavy pyrex deep-dish pies on its middle and upper tier in it's unlocked vertical configuration ... you have to lock in the other upright.
* Poor Directions: Thanks to a decidedly too short and under-helpful set of directions, it took me a good 5-10 mins to figure out how to set this up in both of its configurations.
Bottom line: They should have made this unit large enough to handle standard sized half-sheet pans. They should also have made it a bit sturdier, gave it decent feet, and fabricated it in un-coated stainless steel, so that it could double as a baking rack, and they could have done so for only a modest increase in cost. If they had, I'd have given it 5 stars instead of 3, and this product would easily dominate its niche market. Despite these flaws, this unit is still above average compared to most of the residential equipment out there, and as a result I can still recommend it.
Recommended, with reservations. For the $20 I paid, it's a decent value.
Honest reviews on Nifty Non-Stick 3-Tier Cooling Rack
I got this to save some counter space for my kitchen when I make breakfast every morning. The item arrived fast and the packaging is HUGE! I opened it excitedly only to find another flattish box inside. lol It took a while for me to figure out HOW to assemble the rack correctly. Like one of the reviewer states, it will be a little 'lopsided' (uneven) if you don't put the longer hooks between the two tiny crossbars on the center and top level correctly. The manual is not helpful at all. But, once you've figured that the longer of the 2 hooks have to go on top and through the middle hole in the tiny crossbar, the wire mesh will 'stand' correctly on its own. When assembled correctly, the rack feels sturdy. It won't budge much. However, without the 4 horizontal long bars on each corner, the rack will start to rock when you put something heavy on it. Like a ceramic pie plate filled with any type of filling. So, with just the 2 horizontal corner bars, you can only cool lightly baked goodies like individual cookies and such. I only wish they come longer than 13".
I tried placing my stainless steel half sheet pan (cookie sheet) on the top most level and it fitted nicely. (It won't fit the rest of the level, though.) So, for heating food items, I need to use a smallish round pan like an 8" pizza tray for it to fit in the slots. I'm still giving it a full 5 star because it really saves a lot of counter space for my small kitchen when I'm busy fixing breakfast and pack lunches for my family every morning. It made my work a whole lot EASIER stacking all the different food items like individual tarts or quiches and warm sandwiches and such on the different levels! So, thank you very much!
