I love making lasagna and shepard's pie in this pan and it's able to house a decent size turkey for the holidays! Spatula utensil and flat rack are nice extras. The one setback: it doesn't do so well if you try to seer meat on the stovetop as you need a thicker, more expensive pan for that. This mirror finish pan is also a breeze to clean. I was impressed by a recent purchases of a Norpro stainless pie pan so I hunted around for this roaster/lasagna pan on Amazon. It must be a well kept secret because Norpro's pan doesn't just automatically pop up, you have to really look through many Norpro products to find it.

I researched many pans including lasagna pans that probably won't fit in my oven due to the handle span. Compared to the Progressive International Stainless pan, this one blows it out of the water for only a few bucks more. Norpro makes the Progressive International pan feel like a flimsy lightweight. Having a smallish city dweller oven (16-1/4" long) it's a challenge to find many stainless steel pans that let me close the oven door, let alone a decent quality one at a great price. What more could I ask for but for a larger apt and oven?

These pans are tough to find, but awesome. Now that they've finally reappeared on Amazon (I've had one in my wish list for years and years!), I'm snapping one up for my newlywed daughter. I've had many neighbors and friends borrow mine, and they always want to know where I got them.

This is about 1-1/2 times as large as a standard 13x9 pan, so it's perfect for serving a crowd, or simply spreading food out for faster baking. The stainless cleans up like nothing else, no matter what we burn into it. I use mine for rolls, sheet cakes, lasagne, pumpkin pudding, and whatever else gets dreamed up; they get used many times in an average week.

The rounded corners clean up well and bake evenly, but you do need to consider that your brownies won't all be perfect squares--not that anyone wants a dried-up "perfect" corner brownie to begin with. The handles are sturdy and don't stick out to waste space in your cupboard.

The rack is, I concede, flimsy. But we use ours often, and it hasn't broken or rusted; it's just squishy. And the spatula is short-handled and uninspiring; rather than risk having kids use the stainless in a non-stick frying pan, I gave mine away. You're buying this for the wonderful pan; consider those other items free bonuses and you'll be delighted.

This pan was thinner than I expected and the rack, which I plan on using often, is very thin and looks like it would bend easily. Would not recommend.

This was bought for a chemical research lab, so I can't say anything about its intended use. However, it is sturdy enough for my purpose.

I drilled four holes in it for mounting on pedestals and four more to support the rack on rubber feet. The steel is thin and may not support very heavy items. The rack is likewise somewhat lightweight.

It probably wouldn't work for constant use (no restaurants). I would liken it Harbor Freight tools, good for occasional use.

FYI, the actual size is 16.25" L x 12" W x 2.5" D. This is with the handles down. The handles add 1.25" each when lifted.
