On my second decanter. The first was too thin, broke easily. This one is probably twice as thick but not ridiculously heavy. Le Creuset does a good job as you would expect. The aerator is unique, it holds the entire bottle upright and cascades the wine evenly down the sides of the decanter. Has been a discussion point at various dinner parties.

We received this as a gift, and we love it! The aerator makes the wine cascade beautifully down the sides into the decanter. This process is not only fun to watch, but brings out the nuances in the wine while making it smooth. Anyone who enjoys good red wines would love this decanter!
