Product does a nice job of holding the contents together while you toast the crackers, but the marshmallow and chocolate do not melt. Found myself roasting the mallow, then using the maker to toast.

I didn't have much luck using marshmallows, candy bars and graham crackers with this product. It was difficult to shut the basket with the marshmallows in it and the food slid. Perhaps if one used marshmallow fluff, it would work fine. I bought three grilling products, loved two of them, but not this one.

I like this product ok, but NOT w/standard marshmallows. The next time I use this, I'm getting the flat marshmallows specifically made for making S'mores & I bet it will work beautifully! I hope so, because the marshmallows don't melt very well. It is also true that it's not fat enough to hold everything and the graham cracker splits. I did cut the ones we had with scissors, but that is way too much work when we're trying to have fun with a lot of kids! Also, this fits the square, not the rectangular graham crackers. I read on another review that this works well for making toast in the mornings, which I cannot wait to try!
