Works well. Simply twist the top to open the container, and twist in the opposite direction to close. When the lid is in the closed position, it remains so I was trying to pry it off to see if it would budge, and it didnt!
The lid can be completely disassembled (there are 8 pieces) which makes it easy to clean. You dont have to worry about buildup and etc. Just dont lose the pieces...The SmarTwist Storage Containers are great for storing bulk goods. They're also stack-able, air tight and you can use them in the freezer...what's not to love.
