We have a set of Oneida, but the pieces were so heavy. Bought a set of these, liked them, bought a second set. I like that the spoons and fork tines are thin and that the pieces are much lighter. Even though the stainless contains no nickle, I think they will hold up well. Recommended if you don't like big clunky utensils.

I just needed to replace an old aging plastic-handled silverware set we've been using in the kitchen for ages. This set is a great, soild, modern but not too fancy set for regular use. We run ours through the dishwasher all the time and haven't seen any issues yet. We put this item for our wedding register because it has a great design.We ended up receiving two sets of these and while one set was good, the other one was not good at all. Many of the utensils had scratches on them and a few of them had black/brown discolored patches on them. I tried to wash them and even took a steel wool pad to it, but it didn't help.
