For the amount paid for this pan, it was well worth it. I do wish I had waited and paid more for a heavier pan---the lid feels substantial but the pan itself is a bit lightweight.

I bought the Innova Kitchen Basics 2-quart covered sauce pan a few weeks ago from Amazon. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I use the 2-quart size almost daily. It's heavy, cooks evenly, has cool handles. I recommend this line of cookware. I am going to order the one and three quart sizes soon.

But, after one use the bottom of the inside looks like it has a whitish film on it. I handwashed it twice. I did like cooking with it -very even heat and very good contact with the element. My old Revere Ware has all slightly warped so I noticed how nice it was to use a pan with a perfectly flat bottom. I got it on sale so I am happy with it. I might not be so happy if I had paid $30 for it.

This is the kind of pan you use when you just want to heat some soup, boil hot dogs or make a plate of rice. It has a nice weight to it and cleans very easily though it has no Teflon on it. The price was alright and I feel that I have completed my set of cookware. The only thing I need now is a nice cast iron dutch oven. If you get this and use it properly it will last you for years.
