The whole point of double walled technology is to insulate while remaining light to hold. These clearly meet these requirements. In the brief time I have had them, I have used them for hot and cold beverages, microwaved them and washed them in the dish washer. The mugs functioned without incident. In addition, these have a timeless contemporary appearance. Good bye and good riddance ceramic mugs!

These glasses are incredibly light! When I took one of them out, the first thought that came in mind was: "Is this plastic?" I read the box again to make sure that it says glass and it does. I'm not sure how easily they will break, but they seem to work pretty well. I tried using it for cold drink and the double-wall kept the glass from sweating. Overall, these are pretty pricey, but work well.

Style and quality were first rate easy to hold, beverages stay warm, not ideal for cold beverages where ice in necessary as the thin layer may break if ice is dropped in. Perfect for latte's or tea/coffee.. look and feel great on the hand. A nice gift. Priced right. Shipping when free from Amazon is VERY slow.

I have been using these coffee mugs for a few weeks now and I am completely satisfied with them. 14 Ounces is the perfect size mug and hot drinks stay hot for a long time. I think that the price is fair and I find the glasses to be very durable and easy to clean. I had other double walled glass mugs from Starbucks and they broke very easily. Double wall plastic mugs do not break but they are just too hard to clean to be practical. Coffee and tea stains are almost impossible to remove from any non-glass product no matter if it is polycarbonate, Tritan or whatever. These mugs are hand blown in China and the quality is as good as I have ever seen. Every surface is very smooth and the handle design is just right. Also, unlike many glass mugs these fit in car cup holders. I will definitely order more Luigi Bormioli double wall glassware.

If you are complaining about the moisture between the walls, the bodum version which costs twice as much as a silicone breathable seal which has never given me that problem, but I like that this glass holds an extra 4 oz which is perfect for my morning 4 shot latte... Bodum Bistro Double-Wall Insulated Glass Mug, 15-Ounce, Set of 2 This one has a much clunkier shape. The assam shape was nice but did not have a handle, while the canteen bodum's don't hold as much again, and also don't have a handle. These are perfect! the same light feel with the handle. And I like that they keep my coffee at the right temp for the 15 to 20 min it takes me to drink the cup. The Bodum assam glasses which seem to be discontinued are one of my favorites too, but hold much less than this one. I didn't like Sun's Tea(TM) 16oz Strong Double Wall Thermo Glass Pilsner/Tumbler/Glasses for Beer/Cocktail/Lemonade/Iced tea and other beverage, Set of 2 because they weigh as much as say something that was stoneware, and thats awkward since they don't have a handle.
